1. ASHTAR (ASIAN SOCIETY FOR HUMANITY, TOGETHERNESS AND REHABILITATION)


The school ASHTAR was established and maintained by ASHTAR group which was formed informally in 1997 and became formal in 1999. Two patron sisters donated half acre of land. The modest Office-cum-School-Cum-Vocational training Centre-Cm Adult Education Centre, got itself functional from 7th Jan, 2001.



ASHTAR focuses on providing education to lower section minorities ate very low cost. Besides providing education to deprived sections it also organizes many training sessions trains the lower class sections on self-employment and also working in the field of Community development, Vocational training.

2. LOYOLA ODIA( RAINBOW) SCHOOL

 

In 2001 Jesuit Society from Jamshedpur established Loyola School in Bhubaneswar. In 2004, Odia medium school has been started under the name of Rainbow School. Initially students from the nearby slum called Salia sahi were enrolled for the course and it was like a tutorial course for them.

 

In 2008, the old name Rainbow was changed to Loyola Odia School after the merger of Loyola and Rainbow schools which resulted in its transformation into a regular school. Now the school has more than 600 students and teaches from UKG to ClassX.
